Trisha Greear was raised in Hebron, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1998, where she majored in Political Science and Speech and minored in Business. She then attended the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee, graduating in 2001.
After graduation, Trisha worked as a staff attorney for Habitat for Humanity in Americus, Georgia and then clerked for three district court judges in Sumter County, Georgia. She joined the Brierly Charnetski law firm in 2002.
Trisha is engaged in general practice including but not limited to family law, personal injury, and criminal law.
She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2002 and to the State Bar of Iowa in 2003. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, the Georgia State Bar Association, the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and she is an at-large representative on the Young Lawyers Division Executive Council. |
